For the last part of his presentation Name Redacted talked about all the really cool and really expensive gear it will take if you really want to do a nice project with a Canon 5D. Things like a $40,000 SteadyCam rig for moving camera shots, Special harnesses, dolly track and jib arms (mobile cranes used to do sweeping, remote controlled camera shots), $20,000 Fluid heads and much, much more. Yes, you too could probably do a nice movie with a crew, a few prototype camera bodies and several hundred thousand dollars worth of cinema grip gear.
What was the point? I could just as well have shown people how to get good still frames from an Arriflex movie camera.
